Successful development of the 4th Training School in Vodnany (Czech Republic)

The 4th Training School of the AQUAGAMETE COST Action, entitled “ Optical Microscopy and Image Analysis”, was held at the University of Ceske-Budejovice, in the Faculty of Fisheries and Quality of Water, in Vodnany, Czech Republic, from 16th – 20th March 2015.

IMPRESS offers 15 predoctoral positions

Under the EU Horizon 2020 programme, 15 PhD positions are offered through the International Training Network (ITN) on ¨Improved production strategies for endangered freshwater species¨ (IMPRESS).

IMPRESS counts with the participation of 9 European partners from Norway, Spain, France, Czech Republic, Germany, Netherlands and Israel, coordinated by the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), Oslo, Norway.

IMPRESS offers international and interdisciplinary training to 15 predoctoral students in several European countries, with a very competitive salary and contacts within the industrial sector, governmental agencies and leading laboratories. Apart from taking care of research tasks, the students will participate in an extense programme with short training courses and stays in other participant institutions.
