The Journal of Applied Ichthyology has published in June a special issue (Vol. 31; Suppl. 1) containing the Proceedings of the 4th International Workshop on the Biology of Fish Gametes, held in Albufeira (Portugal) from 17th to 20th of September 2013, with the participation of 118 researchers from 24 countries.
